A focused export strategy has led to global export success for family run Snowdonia Cheese Company, starting under a decade ago on a small stand at leading food and drink tradeshow, Anuga.
Tell us about Snowdonia Cheese Company...
Snowdonia Cheese Company is a family business, run by the
sons of third-generation dairy farmers. Inspired by the lush greenery of
beautiful Snowdonia in North Wales, we began by using fresh ingredients to
craft natural, premium Cheddar and Red Leicester cheeses that married an
extraordinary depth of flavour with a remarkable creaminess. They were an
instant success in local markets and our multi-award-winning cheese and chutney
ranges are now enjoyed in over 20 countries around the world.
Snowdonia Cheese Company’s journey to international success
began 9 years ago with a small booth on the UK pavilion at the Anuga trade
fair. Since then, we have steadily built
a global network of distributors and established strong relationships with
target retailers. Our success is the
result of a focused export strategy and continual investment in marketing and
sales resources.
