FDEA, in conjunction with its event partner PS8, organises UK pavilions at international food & drink trade shows at some of which DIT financial support is available for eligible exhibitors. We also have our own programme of regional, national and international events offering market updates and networking opportunities.     Japan's leading international trade show

    Join the UK pavilion at this trade show for the Japanese market.

    FOODEX JAPAN is one of the largest international trade shows in Asia specialising in Food & Drink with over 71,000 visitors and 2,500 exhibitors from 70 countries & regions. The show gives you an excellent opportunity to present your products and your brand strengths to key Japanese and Asian buyers

    The Japan food and drink market is very sophisticated, and although traditional culinary culture remains a strong part of national identity, Japanese consumers enjoy a diverse range of food products now available at an array of convenient locations. The Japanese value the country of origin and the vibrant stories behind products. Imported foods and beverages is around 5.9 trillion Yen  

    Food and drink exports to Japan rose by 5% in Q1 2018, from Q1 2017, to £56.7m and it is now the UK's 18th largest export destination for food and drink.
    There was notable growth in the following product categories: sweet biscuits (119%), pork (88%), soft drinks (90%) and cheese (507%)
